Photography for me lingers just beyond the interior, a partner throughout life pushing me to build relationships in this real world, accompanied by the familiarly uncomfortable shine of practicality upon my instinctive inward bent.
My photos exist as passing instants of time amongst the greater world, our memory, perhaps even mingling with whatever my state of mind demanded of me at that moment. The birth of a frame requires not only solitude but also a transcendent emotional state which trusts instinct despite the visible.
– Emotional associations with figurative American art – Wyeth, Кеnt. Cosmogonic landscapes with a hint of sentimentality. There is a visual experience of perception of such images with their artificially low horizons, the feeling of a large space.
– Horizontal format. Looks completed and balanced.
– The pictures with a star track as well as other pictures with night and active sky thanks to celestial phenomena (stars and planets, polar lights).
