Beyond the obligatory scenic balance and memory the physical image must possess, I also demand of my work an element reminiscent of the isolated otherworldly blasé in which the image was obtained. It must capture for me the solemnitude of my experience, for then it can convey that to anyone.
It is my embrace of solitude which “Zero Fucks Given” devotes its energy. How can the pressures of society and the overload of information we endure dulling our perceptions allow us to experience the tranquility of escape? An escape representing a legitimate and timeless methodology which permits no dominion to pressures. I often smile to think of what our world could realize were everyone to embrace this idea, and in so doing separate the mind from the body and the stresses inflicted upon each by the other. It is in the act of separating something of us from each other and ourselves that we gain mastery over our perception of self, of thought, and of time.
