Four days centred
around the Flower Moon

I designed this residency for photographers who want more than a workshop — a genuine immersion into place, light, and quiet practice. The Tower of Lethendy offers a setting that is almost impossibly beautiful: a 400-year-old estate in the heart of Perthshire, private, refined, completely undisturbed.

Our days move between technical instruction and solitary exploration. Evenings end in long-exposure sessions beneath a full moon. Mornings begin with breakfast by a Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef. Partners may choose a retreat-only experience — golf, tennis, heated pool, and the quiet calm of the Tower.

The programme

Tuesday
The Gentle Start
Arrival and welcome briefing at the Tower. Your first evening session in woodland carpeted with seasonal bluebells — an unhurried introduction to the landscape before the intensive days ahead.
30 Apr
Wednesday
Red Cliffs Day
A coastal session at dramatic red sandstone cliffs and sea stacks on the North Sea. Instruction focuses on tonal contrast, coastal light conditions, and slow-shutter water work with ND filters.
1 May
Flower Moon
The Full Moon Cultivation — centrepiece of the tour
Exploration of a medieval cliff-top fortress at twilight. The session culminates in capturing the Full Moon rising over ancient stone walls — the image the entire residency is built around.

Friday
The Old Harbour
Photography of a 19th-century fishing harbour — geometry of old masonry, weathered stone piers, and the quiet drama of working water. Morning is left free for estate exploration.
3 May
Saturday
Farewell
Final breakfast at the Tower, group image review with Anna, and departure. Each guest takes home a signed, limited-edition keepsake print from the residency.

Programme is subject to weather conditions. Anna will adapt sessions to ensure the best possible light and results for all participants.
